FLIGBY, the legendary business game, has helped to develop flow-promoting leadership skills for over ten years, and tens of thousands of people have been fascinated by the story of the Turul Winery management. The popularity of the simulation characters is well illustrated by the fact that one of their sayings has become a real slogan. Like Larry’s wise reflection on teamwork: “…T.E.A.M. Together Everybody Achieves More!”
The success of FLIGBY has been greatly supported by its professional look and feel, including its logo. To meet the continuously changing needs of users and players, the developers have regularly updated the game’s user interface and logo.
Here is a brief history of the FLIGBY logo, from the early sketches to the new, current version.
This is an early concept, never used in the final product, but it was a great help in visualizing the idea and gaining the support of Professor Csikszentmihalyi:

The logo, which appeared first in the product in 2010, tried to refer to the wave-like appearance regularly used in connection with the flow phenomenon. At that time, the game’s official name was not FLIGBY, but “Flow is Good Business.” Nevertheless, the simulation was widely called FLIGBY from the first moment.

The following significant change was when the name FLIGBY finally appeared in the logo in 2015. By then, FLIGBY was already a well-known solution in the serious gaming market and won the Golden Medal of the International Serious Play Awards in Seattle.

Why was it necessary to redesign the logo, then? The most important driver is that our core competence has evolved in new directions in the last few years. ALEAS Group (the producer and owner of FLIGBY) is now an industry leader in profiling interactive movies. Partnering with Hollywood’s most recognized interactive movie production company, the CtrlMovie from Paramount, we are working on turning pure entertainment into an engaging learning journey that provides valuable feedback on human behavior and mental health. This is how we lift FLIGBY’s assessment technologies to the next level. The first piece of this cooperation is the “Late Shift” program that upgrades the world’s most popular interactive thriller to a “role optimizer” application utilizing FLIGBY’s profiling technology.
As you see, the horizon is much broader than running a well-known and widely acknowledged business game. That’s why we have now decided to design a logo representing these new opportunities besides the traditional FLIGBY values.
This is FLIGBY’s new logo:

The transition of the colors refers to flow and the possibility of evolution and change. The upward and forward direction also shows progress and development. And it is more dynamic than the previous one.
We hope you’ll also like it and join us on this challenging new journey ahead.
